I am a magic tree

A special tree

And no other tree

That is me

We have been hearing about the foliage of the Kingshuk Tree from the different perspectives of the seasons and the four princesses. What they see may not give the whole picture as they discover that to see the tree fully, they must listen to each other’s insights as well as their own. We have been listening to and respecting each other’s ideas even if they are not the same as our own. 

We have been noticing nature. We have been reading picture books to help us learn about culture and Country during Reconciliation Week.  We have been sharing how to say things in the different languages we speak in the classroom.  

We have enjoyed singing, dancing and making bread with families from the language of our hearts.
