St James Mini Vinnies

As part of our Social Justice initiatives at St James, we continue to challenge our students to SEE!, THINK!, DO! and REFLECT! on the change they can make in our world.

Along with the Winter Appeal donations the students wanted to create a fundraising opportunity. The SRC voted and it was decided that on the last day of this term, students are invited to bring a gold coin donation and create their own bracelet.

We are seeking donations of any bracelet making materials. Please drop these into the Year 4 classroom before Friday 21st of June.

Sacred Heart Mass

Today we celebrated the Feast of the Sacred Heart. This feast day emphasizes the unmitigated love, compassion, and long-suffering of the heart of Christ towards humanity. Today we showed that love and compassion for those in our community through the St Vincent De Paul Winter Appeal.

Representatives for the Gardenvale conference will join us at our next Assembly on Thursday 20th June. Donations will still be accepted until the end of the term.
