Dear MCHF Community,
Another month has passed since our last edition, and we reflect on the wonderful achievements and success stories we have experienced in the last month. Our theme this year, Journey of Growth, focuses on providing opportunities for students to identify for areas for growth and to journey with their peers, parents, and staff towards celebrating these achievements.
Throughout this last month, we have many achievements and success stories to celebrate and highlight:
Student Voice and Involvement in College Life
Recently, we have been providing opportunities for students to be involved further in the College life. It has been tremendous to see the amount of students becoming involved in the life of the College and making contributions in different ways. Below are some of the ways students have become involved in the College life:
College Values Project Update
This term we launched the College Values project where we are working towards developing College based values that will reinforce our thoughts and actions at the College. We thank all the staff, students and parents who completed the first survey that was sent out recently. We are currently analysing the data and a second survey will be sent for feedback. We hope to launch the values in Term 3.
2023 Annual School Report
The College has released its 2023 Annual School Report. You are invited to view the report which can be accessed from the College website or by clicking here.
Use of Opal Cards on School Buses
A reminder that all students who travel to and from the College via the bus are required to have a valid opal card. Please remind your child/ren that they must tap on when entering the bus.

Staff Celebrate End of Term with Noah’s Ark Coffee
Our Staff celebrated the end of the term with a morning coffee gathering on Thursday 27th June 2024. Staff w
ere treated to hot beverages on a winters morning by Noah’s Ark. This was a complimentary gift to the staff by one of our parents, Mrs Jumana Tawadrous. On behalf of the College Staff, we thank Mr and Mrs Tawadrous and their children for their generosity and for organising this for our Staff.

Still to Come this Term
As we head towards the end of Term 2, we still have several things to look forward to:
Term 2 concludes for students on Tuesday 2nd July 2024
Term 3 commences for students on Tuesday 23rd July 2024
I take this opportunity to thank all the staff for your efforts throughout this term. The tireless hours you put to ensure you provide the best learning experience for our students is appreciated. Thank you to all the students for your efforts throughout this term and for all the contributions you make towards the College and your learning. Finally, thank you to all the parents for your support throughout this term. A special thank you to the Parent Association for all the work, events and time you put in for the College.
