Year 3/4 Report

Welcome back! 

We have a lot of exciting things planned for our last term in grade 3/4, including our 3/4 Day Camp on November 6th. 

Literacy 

This term Grade 3/4s will practice their skills in research, note taking, drafting, editing/revising and publishing biography pieces about a variety of different influential people. Students will be given the opportunity to select an influential person in the world around them, research important key facts about their lives and write a detailed biography about their chosen person. 

Numeracy

Maths this term will see the Grade 3/4s develop their knowledge and understanding of fractions. Students will use their understanding of fractions to make connections to other mathematical concepts.  Students will explore a variety of problem solving tasks and games to help consolidate their understanding.

• School starts at 8:50am
• You must have your hat in Term 4
• Please remember your water bottle in Term 4
• Curriculum Day - 3rd November
