Connection and Community

At St Paul Lutheran School, we are truly blessed with a strong sense of community. A school where connection, care and belonging flourish every day. I feel so grateful to work with such amazing children, colleagues and families who bring light, laughter and joy into my days. Each moment shared, whether it’s a smile when walking through the corridors, watching children play in the big park, or a helping hand from my colleagues, reminds me of the love of Christ that binds us together.

1 Corinthians 1:10 says “I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.”

This verse reminds us that true community is built not just through friendship, but through unity. We choose kindness, understanding and compassion even though we are all different. God calls us to work together, to celebrate each other’s strengths and to build each other up in love. When we show grace to one another, our school becomes more than just a place to learn, it becomes a family.

Dear God,

Thank you for the gift of our school community. Please help us to cherish the connections that make our days brighter, the friendships that lift us up and the families who support us. May we continue to build a spirit of kindness and belonging, where everyone feels valued, respected and seen. Let our community be a place of warmth, joy, hope and laughter.

Amen.
