A-Game Leadership Program with the Bachar Houli Foundation

Throughout the year, a group of students from year 9 and 10 had the opportunity to participate in The A-Game, a leadership program facilitated by the Bachar Houli Foundation. This is the third time we have had them come to UHS.

The program is designed specifically for Muslim students aged 14–17 and focuses on building leadership skills, physical health, well-being, and a strong sense of identity. Through a series of interactive sessions led by qualified facilitators, students explored the values of teamwork, resilience, and personal growth, while developing practical tools to support their success both inside and outside the classroom.

The program was engaging and empowering, providing a safe and supportive space for students to reflect on their goals, celebrate their identity, and connect with positive role models from the community.

We are grateful to the Bachar Houli Foundation for bringing this valuable initiative to University High School and for their ongoing commitment to developing confident, capable, and community-minded young leaders.
