From the Library 

It has been a very busy few weeks for the library. We celebrated Mid-Autumn Moon

 Festival during week 1. In Make and Take Craft Club we made mooncake boxes and some of the International Students ran a DIY paper lantern workshop. We celebrated LGBTQIA+ History Month and decorated fabulous paper fans during week 2 Craft Club.

In week 2 we held a book sale to raise money for Make Room, a Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation which supports people experiencing homelessness and sleeping rough in Melbourne. The exact amount is still to be verified and confirmed, but the total raised was approximately $177.00!  

We also celebrated and said farewell to our wonderful Year 12 Student Assistants and Friends of the Library with a breakfast party. We would like to give our heartfelt thanks for all they have contributed to the library over the years. We will miss them all dearly, and we wish them all the best for the future.
