Grade 1 & 2's

Step back in time! Our Grade 1/2 students had an absolute blast during the History Box incursion on March 2nd, diving into the past through hands-on exploration and play. The Junior Hall was buzzing with excitement as students discovered what life was like “back in the day.”
One of the biggest highlights was playing traditional games like “knuckle bones,” with lots of laughter (and a bit of friendly competition!) filling the room. Students were also fascinated by the range of old artefacts they could touch and explore—including cassette tapes, which sparked plenty of curiosity and questions.
As they compared life then and now, students shared thoughtful insights about how much has changed—and what has stayed the same. It was a fun, interactive experience that truly brought history to life, and we had an awesome time!
