SWIMMING SUPERSTARS

On Tuesday 3rd March, 26 students competed at the Seaside District Swimming Competition, held at GESAC. It was a massive day and the students should all feel so proud of their achievements. The school came 6th overall that day, which is a great achievement. Of the students that competed, 6 students went on and advanced to the Division Competition which was held on the 10th March. This day also produced some amazing results, with some of the students further progressing to the Regional Competition. The results are below:

• Portia Chen (Year 6) came 1st in the 12/13 Year Old 50m Breaststroke
• Andrei Trofimichine (Year 4) came 1st in both 9/10 Year Old 50m Breaststroke & Butterfly
• Oscar Sharland (Year 6) came 2nd in the 12/13 Year Old 50m Breaststroke
• Our 12/13 Year Old 50m Freestyle Relay (Dexter Karlsson, Oscar Sharland, Rhys Warner & Jack Eagle) came 4th.

What an amazing achievement by all the students and we wish both Portia & Andrei the best of luck at the Regional Competition in Rosebud.
