Girls Grade 5 and 6 Division TBall 

On Friday, August 2nd, the 5/6 girls tee ball team played Sacred Heart in the Division Final. Everyone played at their very best, hitting the ball to the outfield, fielding superbly and running bases like champions. 

The result was Sacred Heart 15 to Kalinda 24, which means the girls are through to Regionals on August 22nd! 

Kalinda Senior House Athletics

On Thursday the 8th of August the Grade 3 to 6 students participated in Kalinda’a Annual House Athletics Carnival at Bill Sewart Athletics Track.

Throughout the day, students competed in a variety of track and field events, while representing their house teams with great enthusiasm. Track events included the 80-metre hurdles (optional), 100-metre sprint, 200-metre sprint, and 800-metre run. The field events featured long jump, high jump, and shot put.

The students displayed exceptional effort and skill as they pushed themselves to achieve personal bests in speed, distance and height. The support among students was truly inspiring, with cheers and encouragement echoing as they neared the finish line. It was heartwarming to see students running alongside those who needed a bit of extra support.

Every student should be proud of their achievements and how they conducted themselves throughout the day. The winning house will be announced at the next assembly
