Principal's Message

Mrs. Cassie Lynch

Dear Families,

Welcome to the first edition of our newsletter for Term 3! School is now in full swing with the students returning happily from holidays. Students are now well and truly into the pattern of school, learning and growing as each day goes.

Last week our Grade 3-6 students headed to the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre to watch the Peasant Prince. From all reports, the students had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the drama of this show.

Thank you to all parents & carers who were able to attend Parent/Teacher Interviews last week. It was a great opportunity to come into the school environment to discuss your child's progress in Semester 1. As always, if you do need to talk about anything, an appointment with your child's classroom teacher can be made at anytime.

Today we celebrated Grandparents' and Special Person's Day at Our Lady's Church, followed by activities back at school for our special visitors. The students all love having visitors to our school and greatly appreciated the effort everyone went to.

Running throughout the week this week we have our Program Support Meeting for students who require additional supports in our school. Please ensure you attend your meeting as we are unable to offer any alternative times. If you have a phone interview, we do ask that you come in to sign all required paperwork by Friday the 2nd of August, 2024.

SAVE THE DATE

Please note that Book Week is just around the corner - we will be dressing up on Monday the 19th of August, 2024. Our Book Parade will be held on the Monday at 9am. We encourage all students to dress up as their favourite book character. We will also have our annual Book Fair running that week, before and after school.

We have many exciting events coming up on our calendar so make sure you are aware of what is happening. Any questions, please ring and ask our friendly staff at the office.

Blessings,

Cassie
