Year 5/6 - Senior Unit

Hello Parents/Guardians

Cannot believe that we are nearly at the half way point of Term 3.  I guess time does really fly when we are having fun.

Over the past two weeks the students have been busily researching and writing analytical articles on a topic of their choice promoting “Healthy Lifestyles”.

They are currently creating a pamphlet advertising and promoting a healthy lifestyle option of their choice.

A huge congratulations to the students who represented Woodend Primary School in Basketball on Tuesday. By all accounts we believe that they did so with determination and demonstrated great sportsmanship. Well done! We have our girls side going on to Castlemaine in the Goldfields Division in October. We wish them good luck!

Last evening there was a fabulous vibe as we had many senior students and their parents/guardians attend the Family Maths night.  Congratulations to Georgina Kemp’s family who took out the winning prize with estimation activity.
