Cake stall a big success
Huge thanks to everyone in the school community who helped out with the PFA cake stall this week, by baking, donating produce, setting up, staffing the stall and of course buying delicious things! We were rushed off our feet with enthusiastic buyers after school, and it was great to see all the smiles as kids and adults went away with their goodies. We sold out in under half an hour, and made the impressive amount of $935.50 for the school.
These funds will be going towards PFA support of school projects, including the exciting new memorial and sensory garden outside the office.
Father’s Day Brekky - place your brekky order for FREE on Qkr!
All fathers and grandfathers are invited to come to the PFA Father’s Day Brekky on Friday 30th August, from 7.45 - 9am, to celebrate our WPS dads. Rafael’s coffee van will be onsite so you can purchase hot coffee (please bring a clean keep cup and cash if possible).
The PFA will be providing our dads with a bacon and egg roll, with mini sausages in bread for the kids - so please remember to place your family’s order for FREE on Qkr! (by 28th August at 10am) so we can cater appropriately.

Parent Trivia/Disco (Friday September 6th, 7-11.30 pm)
WPS PFA invites you to book a babysitter and join us for a fun and interactive night of trivia at Woodend Bowls club, followed by a chance to request songs and have a dance with friends when the trivia’s done. BYO platters to share on your tables and drinks can be purchased from the bar. There will be prizes for first place and also best dressed! Plus there will be a comps and prizes, so bring your loose coins/cash for entry.
Please note that there are limited tickets available, so please get booking ASAP to ensure your spot. You can either buy individual tickets at $20 (early bird or $25 after 21/08) or buy 8 tickets and gather your friends on a table.
