Opportunities for Year 10 and 11 Students
Congratulations to our 3 successful applicants for the Defying the Drift program. This year Ashley Trengove, Ben Grant and Toby Wheeler will represent BSC, attending Longerenong College for 3 days in September.
Defying the Drift is a program available to secondary students considering a career in agriculture and related industries. It is an initiative of Rotary District 9780, which includes around 60 Rotary Clubs located throughout Western Victoria and into South Australia.

Opportunity for Art/Music Students
On Saturday the 24th August, SAE University College is holding their annual open day. SAE is specifically for students who aspire to work in the animation, audio, design, film, games or music industries. Former students have gone on to careers at Sony, Pixar and Warner Bros, while others have gone on to become radio hosts. Regardless of your ATAR score, this could be the ideal pathway to the career of your dreams. For further information, please see Adrian.
Careers Taster, Beaufort and Skipton Health Service
Beaufort and Skipton Health Service is hosting a Careers Taster for local secondary students.
It will be an opportunity for students to learn more about the diverse range of careers available in the Health Industry and highlight pathways to becoming enrolled nurses (Diploma Level), among other fields. The session will take place on Wednesday the 21st August and will consist of a tour of the Beaufort Campus, interspersed with hands-on activities.
