Murrup Art at BSC

The new artworks in our Drama Centre are up! You might remember that this project began last term after a visit to our school by Wadawurrung artist, Jenna Oldaker (Murrup Art). Together, Jenna and our Year 7 students workshopped ideas for some new artworks for the Drama Centre wall. She shared with students some of her work and this inspired them to draw images in their sketchbooks.  Jenna took ideas from the sketches and painted us some pieces that were resized and printed on to thin aluminium sheeting that could be attached to the Besser blocks. Thanks to the Year 7 Art Class and their teacher, Mrs McGregor, for being so enthusiastic about this project and of course a massive thankyou to Jenna for helping us make the Drama Centre look so magnificent!
