Local Talent, Broad Horizons
On Sunday the 11th August, we have three BSC students participating in the Come Together music event, run by FreeZa, at the Queenscliff Town Hall.
After a beautiful performance at the Awards Assembly last Friday morning, and playing to a packed crowd at the Flywheel Bar & Cafe in Beaufort later that evening, the girls keep going from strength to strength.
Serendipity came about when a group of students formed a connection during the Song Makers program. Lucy Turville, Annie Kehoe and Matilda Venes, along with Gypsy Schier, are excited to perform alongside seven other bands at the event. All bands are made up of high school students, with a passion for music and performing.
Their allotted set time is 3:30 - 3:50pm, with doors open from 1:30pm. There will also be a food truck at the venue, so come along and share in a fantastic afternoon of entertainment. You can say you saw them perform before they were famous!
Tickets for the event are free, but numbers are capped, so best get in early and grab a ticket for each member of the family and any friends that would like to see the show. You must book a ticket through the following oztix link.
