Week 6: Resilience - Growth Mindset

Mya MFor teaching all of Prep C about having a growth mindset by telling them that “practise makes powerful!”

Year 1

Estelle PFor showing a growth mindset in maths when you were learning and practising how to make a growing pattern.

Year 2

Delta RFor showing a growth mindset when the class changed seating spots. Even though you didn’t get to sit with your close friend, you stayed positive and focused.

Year 3

Ged CFor asking a friend to teach you how to bounce an AFL ball. You practised and now you can do it!

Year 4

Aleksy S and Marko AFor showing a growth mindset when the soccer pitch wasn’t available due to PE. You bounced back and chose to play footy instead.

Year 5

Summer JFor showing a growth mindset when you came back from recess and found that your slime had been ruined. Even though it was frustrating, you let it go and stayed positive.
