St John’s School Production – Important Information
Date: Wednesday 2nd July Venue: The Round Theatre
We are very excited for our upcoming school production of Cinderella and the Rockin’ Fellas and would like to share the key details for the day.
Morning Drop-Off - Wednesday 2 July:
We request that students be dropped to The Round for our whole school dress rehearsal.
- Time: 8.40am
- Location: The Round Theatre (please refer to the attached guide for the exact drop-off location)
- Students must be signed in by an adult at the Stage Door
Any students who are in Before School Care will be walked to The Round by staff, departing at 8.45am.
What to Bring:
- Snack, lunch and a water bottle
- All items should be packed in a clearly labelled backpack
- Students should wear their PE uniform and runners (please ensure all pieces of clothing are clearly named) - Teachers will take their costumes to the Round for the day
Afternoon Pick-Up:
- Rehearsals will run until 2:30pm.
- Students can be picked up and signed out from the Stage Door by an adult
- Any student not collected by 3:00pm will be walked back to school for normal pickup at 3.20pm
Please ensure that your child has a rest in the afternoon and has dinner before returning to the Round!
Evening Performance:
- Students must be dropped back at The Round Theatre by 6:15pm
- The Stage Door will open at 6:10pm for sign-in
- Students should arrive dressed in their costume (these will be sent home after rehearsals in the afternoon)
- Lipstick or blush may be applied at home, all other makeup/glitter will be applied by staff at The Round.
- If you do not want your child to wear makeup/glitter, please let us know.
- Please ensure students bring a labelled drink bottle
- Bring a simple activity like a colouring book, board game or cards
- Strictly no electronic devices, phones or smart watches
- The show begins at 7:00pm sharp
- Approximate finish time: 8:30pm
- Students are to be picked up and signed out at the Stage Door following the performance
