St John's Parents Games Night - Saturday 23 August

https://user.cdfpay.flexischools.com.au/home

You Are all Invited!

When is it happening?

Saturday 23 August from 7pm

Buy your GAMES NIGHT ticket and come along for a great night.

What is this ‘Games Night’?

The Games Night is our biggest parent social event for the school year. There will be a range of fun, action-packed games stationed around the room for you to take part in (if you wish - or you can simply mingle and enjoy the food and drinks and socialise for the night).

What types of games will there be?

The games on offer will be fun and interactive - there will be some active games such as an AFL handball competition, human slot machines, alco-hookie (18+ version of lob-a-choc), basketball shooting competition and table tennis etc.

There will also be some more sedate options - like a $1000 raffle draw and an arcade machine (Galaga anyone?).

How much does it cost and what’s included?

Your $50 ticket includes entry to the Games Night, wood-fired pizza, a drink on arrival and a ticket to the door prize.

Option also avilable to buy a "Pay It Forward" ticket - If you’re able to Pay it Forward, purchasing an extra ticket allows us to offer the opportunity to someone who might not be able to join us otherwise.

BUY YOUR TICKETS NOW - https://user.cdfpay.flexischools.com.au/home or via the CDFpay App

How will the games work?

Each game will be set up around the room with a ‘games master’ and some clear instructions on how it works. Some games will be free to play, others will be at a small cost (e.g. gold coin).

There are prizes, raffles and vouchers to be won throughout the night.

Can I bring the kids?

No, not this time… sorry. This event is just for the adults. So please organise your babysitters so you can enjoy the night. (Volunteers for the set-up and pack-up can bring their children along in the afternoon so their children can have a go at the games - from past experience we know children love getting involved and seeing their parents helping too.)

What should I bring on the night?

Please bring yourself, some cash or coins for the games, and your enthusiasm!

What will the money raised on the night be used for?

All funds raised will be used to pay for new outdoor furniture in the passive play area.

How can I get involved?

There are plenty of small jobs to do to make the night a success. Get in touch with your class rep or Verona if you have some capacity to help out in any way. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated.
