The Kindness Page:

We have a Give a Little Page for our dearly loved teacher, Helen Rollo. Helen is fighting stage four cancer and needs immunotherapy treatment. She will require approximately 15 treatments, each costing around $10,000.

These treatments have a record of life-saving success in many previous cases. Helen has self-funded six treatments but will need help to cover the remaining treatments.

Your help, however small, will make a massive difference for Helen.

Please only give if you can.

So far, your help has raised $15,000 towards Helen's treatments. This is awesome, and we are so grateful for your kindness.

We have also been overwhelmed with kindness and generosity in our request for donations of food to help provide lunches for hungry children.

Here is an email we received that is another example of the incredible kindness and generosity of our community:

Hi Ash,

I hope you’ve had a relaxing and refreshing school holiday break.

We’ve been reflecting on the message we saw on Hero regarding food donations for lunches for students who need them.

Although we weren’t able to commit to joining a roster at the time, we would love to support the initiative in another way.

We’d like to contribute $200 to help cover any costs or gaps that may arise. Could you please let us know if the usual school bank account is the best place to send this, and what reference you’d prefer we use?

Kind regards.
