Around the Classrooms

Year 3/4RC

Welcome back to school, I hope you all had a very relaxing Christmas School holiday. The students in Year 3/4 RC have It is great to see everyone again. This time of year is all about settling in and becoming comfortable with each other. It always takes a few days to get to know our new routines, find our way around the classroom, and start building friendships.– We are all here to help each other and to be confident.

As we start the school year, we will also be learning how we work together as a class. Each day, we have been looking at routines, class expectations and our Positive Behaviours for learning These routines help us stay organised and make sure we are all ready to learn. We have looked at examples and non examples of what listening, sharing, and taking turns looks like and most importantly working as a class and in groups.

To help us learn how to work well together, we have had some fun group tasks! We have been given  challenges like building the tallest paper tower and creating the longest paper bridge that can hold a few items. These activities are all about teamwork, problem solving, and being creative. It’s not just about winning but also about learning how to support each other, share ideas, and solve problems as a group. Wishing everyone a great term, filled with learning and fun. Please remember my door is always open.

Warm regards,

Mr. Rosario Corio
