Welcome
As we step into a new school year at St Mary’s College, we are filled with excitement and anticipation for the journey ahead. This year promises to be one of growth, discovery and unforgettable experiences, and we are thrilled to have each one of you as part of our Presentation community.
To our returning students, we are so happy to welcome you back, and to those joining us for the first time, we extend a warm and heartfelt welcome. Whether you are just beginning your journey with us or continuing to build on the foundations of your education, know that you are part of a tradition of excellence. Our dedicated staff are here to support and inspire you as you reach new heights academically, socially and personally.
St Mary’s College is not just a place of learning but a place where friendships are forged, values are nurtured and leaders are made. In the 250th year of Presentation, let’s work together to create an environment of hospitality where every student is encouraged to pursue their passions and achieve their goals.
It was great to see so many of you at our Welcome BBQ last week and we look forward to more opportunities to gather as a community. Please enjoy some photos from the evening below.
Arrival at school
For the safety and wellbeing of all, we kindly request that students do not arrive at school before 8.15am. Senior students arriving earlier should go to the Student Resource Centre (library), while Junior School students must be in Before School Care. This ensures proper supervision and duty of care until classes begin. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
Advisory Council
The Advisory Council met last night to discuss key areas of the school’s management, including the Finance, Education, Publicity and Promotions, Spirituality and Charism, and Strategic Planning committees. We are now calling for expressions of interest from those interested in participating on the Board or any of the sub-committees. If you wish to contribute your skills and expertise, please contact the Principal for more information and to express your interest.
