ENPS Captains' Reflection
As the end of the school year approaches, we've been asking our House Captains to reflect back over 2024 and their time at ENPS. In our final issue, we hear from Gianne and Neel!
Gianne - Baan House Captain
Do you have any highlights from 2024?
Athletics Day with the younger and older kids.
What's been the best thing about being House Captain?
Getting to experience being a leader and helping with sports and activities.
Did you learn any new skills being a captain?
Definitely my cooperation skills with Neel and the other captains.
What has been your biggest challenge so far in 2024? How have you handled it?
Getting along with everyone, it worked out in the end.
What are you most looking forward to?
Making new friends!
How have you looked after your wellbeing this year?
Sports.
Which fitness activities got you through this year?
Volleyball and walking.
Did you enjoy any books this year?
Free.
Did you binge any TV shows this year?
Kardashians.
Did you start a new hobby this year?
Yes, volleyball.
How are you feeling about graduating from primary school?
Very excited and happy to leave but sad that I won't see my friends anymore.
Who makes you laugh at ENPS? Why?
My friends.
Can you sum up 2024 in 5 words?
Fun, chaotic, hard, boring, sad.
What are your personal goals for 2025?
Keep up with homework.
Do you have a favourite memory from your time at ENPS?
All the camps throughout the year.
Do you have any advice for our 2025 Foundation students?
Even it everything seems hard you can push through.
What will you miss most about ENPS?
My friends and classes.
Neel - Baan House Captain
Do you have any highlights from 2024 so far?
I have one main highlight of 2024 which is going to the leadership conference and getting to run activities with the younger grade students.
What's been the best thing about being House Captain?
The best thing about being House Captain was getting to speak at assembly and helping people.
Did you learn any new skills being a captain?
The new skills I learnt while I was House Captain were helping people and getting more involved with school events.
What has been your biggest challenge so far in 2024? How have you handled it?
My biggest challenge in 2024 was during Exhibition when somebody in my group was not doing their share of work.
What are you most looking forward to?
The thing I am looking forward to most is starting high school, doing new subjects and trying school sports.
How have you looked after your wellbeing this year?
I have looked free my wellbeing by having relaxation time and playing and mucking around with my brothers.
Which fitness activities got you through this year?
The fitness activities that got me through the year were softball and footy for school also basketball, taekwondo and swimming.
Did you enjoy any books this year?
The books I enjoyed were Kensy and Max, Wimpy Kid 19, Anh Do Weirdo 23
Did you binge any TV shows this year?
I binged Fresh off the Boat and The Villains of Valley View
Did you start a new hobby this year?
The hobby I started was I started Kumon English and Maths.
How are you feeling about graduating from primary school?
I feel excited to start at a new school and make new friends.
Who makes you laugh at ENPS? Why?
Mason because he is always saying funny words and when I start laughing he acts like nothing happened.
What are your personal goals for 2025?
My personal goals for 2025 are to get better at my handwriting and to get good scores on my exams.
Do you have a favourite memory from your time at ENPS?
I have two favourite memories from my time at ENPS. My first memory is Year Four camp and my second memory was getting House Captain.

Have fun and make new friends.
What will you miss most about ENPS?
My teachers and my friends.
