Ice Cream Day!

What perfect weather it was on Tuesday for our School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support Celebration Day – ICE CREAM DAY! It was just delightful to see students enjoying the celebration that they earned by displaying our school’s expected behaviours throughout the term!

Carols Night!

Please come along and join us at our famous Carols Night on Monday at 5pm! We will have the BBQ on and the weather is looking perfect. Bring a picnic rug and some snacks, then prepare to be impressed by the singing and dancing of our Kinder to Year 6 students!

2025 Transition

This coming Tuesday 10th December will be our final Stepping Up session for 2024.  From 9.30am-11am, students will form their 2025 classes and work with their 2025 teachers. Our 2025 teachers can’t wait to work with their classes on Tuesday! Grab a sneak peak into the 2025 lineup below!

We are looking forward to welcoming Kelly Wild back into the BHNPSK community. Kelly has been working at another school for a little while now but is looking forward to rejoining our team in 2025.

We will welcome a new teacher – Claudia Hart – to our teaching team next year. Claudia joins us from Ashburton Primary School and is looking forward to building relationships with our school community.

Dylan Trenwith will join our teaching staff for the whole year next year, having dipped his toe into his teaching career for Term 4 this year. We are looking forward to welcoming him back as a full-time teacher next year.

With gratitude and sadness we will farewell Emily Collins at the end of this year. Emily has provided us with an amazing Physical Education (PE) program on Mondays and Fridays for the past two years and has been offered a full-time position at her Tuesday-Thursday school for 2025. We wish her all the very best and look forward to seeing her at Division Finals for varied PE events!

Anna Roberds has picked up a position in the Mental Health in Primary Schools (MHiPS) initiative for next year, so won’t be returning. This position is so well suited to her and we wish her all the very best of luck as she begins her new position next week!

Parent Helpers

At Box Hill North Primary School, we benefit significantly from the parents and grandparents of our students who help volunteer for fundraising and keep our school running in a variety of ways – uniform shop, canteen, working bees, School Council, classroom helpers, and much more!

In order to coordinate the smooth-running and organisation of our school events, we will be introducing Year Level Representatives in 2025. Each Year level will have one or two parents to coordinate a range of events throughout the school year. These representatives will make up our Events Committee, which will operate with the support of School Council.

If you are interested in volunteering as Year Level Representative for 2025, please contact the school office as soon as possible. One of the teachers will be in contact with you before the end of the year to provide more information.

Final Assembly 2024

Our Final Assembly will be held on Thursday 19th December at 12.30pm on the green. Please join us in farewelling our wonderful Class of 2024 and celebrating the end of year as a school community!
