Jacques-Louis and Samuel (Year 10) win SA Cricket Competition Achievements
The SACA Representative Carnival competition brings together the top underage cricketers from metropolitan community clubs and associations across various age groups: Under 12 (Boys), Under 14 (Boys), and Under 16 (Boys and Girls). The competition format allows players to compete against city-based teams within their respective pools, providing an exciting week of cricket action.
This year, teams represented three of the five junior metropolitan associations: Para Districts, South Central, and Western Suburbs. Jacques-Louis L and Samuel M (Year 10 Emmaus students) were both selected for the South Central Boys team, which consists of 12 players chosen from a pool of 113 players in the U16 South Central Junior Cricket competition.
The games took place from 14-16 January, including a trial game on 13 January. The South Central team won all games in an extremely competitive and close series.
Congratulations to Jacques-Louis and Samuel!
