2025 SMCM Community Fair - Special Edition Newsletter!

 

 

The day is finally here! We are so excited to share an amazing day of fun with you all on Saturday with amazing rides, food trucks, performances, market stalls and much, much more!

 

Everything you need to know to enjoy the day is included in this Special Fair Edition of the newsletter. 

Fair Map

Want to find the ride zone? Lost your mum and need to find her? Check out the Fair Map for information on where all the fun can be found.

Ride Zone

Find the tea cups, cha-cha, giant slide, inflatable, dodgem cars and the wild chairs here at the Ride Zone. Grab a slurpee, a coffee or a yummy potato twist to munch on while you wait. 

 

You can purchase individual ride tickets here for $8 per ride or an unlimited ride wristband for $40. PRE-PAID WRISTBANDS CAN BE COLLECTED FROM THE STALL AT THE BASKETBALL COURT.

Entertainment Zone

Located on the basketball court, be ready to be amazed by performances and demonstrations all day by Main St Funk Dance School, Shusei Kai Martial Arts, Bollydance by Dipti and Story Martial Arts. DJ Junior will have the tunes pumping from 10am. 

Here you can pick up your pre-paid wristbands, purchase new wristbands or individual ride tickets; have a $1 guess at how many snakes in the lolly jar; choose a lucky envelope for $3, buy more raffle tickets and place your bid at the Silent Auction.

 

 

Silent Auction Items up for grabs:

Sports Fans listen up! We have 6 amazing footy and basketball themed items you can bid on for our Silent Auction. 

 

Simply identify the one you want the most, name your price but check back throughout the day to see if you have been outbid. We will contact you at the end of the day if you are the highest bidder for you to make payment and claim your prize!

 

Raffle Draws will begin at 2.30pm at the Entertainment Zone - make sure you have your tickets in so you are in with a chance of winning 1 of 45 amazing prizes!

 

You will also find first aid and a staffed Family Meeting Spot for those who have lost their family members at the Entertainment Zone. 

Food Truck Zone

Keep the munchies at bay with pizza, donuts, acai, potato twisters, fish and chips, souvlaki and cevapi burgers. 

 

Head up to the Lane where you will find the famous SMCM Sausage Sizzle. All proceeds of the sausage sizzle go directly to SMCM, so grab a snag for $3.50 and a can of drink or water for $2 and keep yourself fueled up for more fun!  

Market Stalls and Kids' Zone

Located at the Soccer Pitch and with over 30 stalls to choose from, you are bound to find something for everyone at the Market stalls. From fairy floss, cupcakes, and earrings, to pot plants, pokemon, and an carnival game you can spend hours here!

The SMCM Pre-Loved uniform stall will also be there to keep your kids kitted out for the upcoming cooler weather, or stock up on bigger sizes for the years to come!

 

 

In the Kids' Zone you will find the Epping CFA Fire truck, pony rides, face painting for $5, glitter tattoos and hair colour for a gold coin dona (all proceeds go to SMCM) AND and ice-cream truck and coffee van!

Raffle Prizes

There are 45 amazing prizes up for grabs including 

FIRST PRIZE of $1500 Eftpos Giftcard

SECOND PRIZE of $1000 Eftpos Giftcard

THIRD PRIZE of $500 Eftpos Giftcard

 

You could also win a blender, dinner for 2 at Marnong Estate, an overnight stay for 2 with breakfast at Mantra Melbourne Epping, $100 gift voucher at RSL, a mamoth Lego giftpack and so much more!

 

Prize Draws will start at 2.30pm at the Entertainment Zone, so make sure you have your tickets in the draw!

  • Don't forget coins and cash - some vendors will have EFTPOS but not all
  • Don't forget sunscreen, hats and a jacket/umbrella if it is cool or raining
  • Security will be onsite throughout the day
  • Event Medical Team will be on the Basketball halfcourt for any first aid needs
  • This is a pet free event - please leave your furry friends at home!
  • Please note this is a family event - staff are not available to supervise children throughout the day
