Year 3 Students visit Salesian and Avila College
A few weeks ago, our Year 3 Students were given the opportunity to be secondary school students for a day! The boys went to Salesian College, and the girls to Avila College. They experienced different programs in a Secondary setting, including a soccer clinic at Salesian with Liverpool FC International Academy Soccer Clinic.
Lexi - At Avila, we made our own keychain in art. We also got to make our own music, the instruments we used were guitars, pianos and drums. There were even stick insects, small and big ones and also a snappy turtle in the science room. It was an awesome day that made me excited for Secondary school.
Xavier - In Science, we put copper onto fire, and the flame turned green. We also made the flame change into other colours. I had never done anything like it before. When we did Art, we made monsters out of plasticine, I named mine Gory, he was blue, orange, and green. The Salesian band played for us and they were amazing, a drummer, an electric guitarist, a bass guitarist and a singer made up the band. It was a great day!
