Around the Classrooms

Grade 3/4W
In 3/4W, we have been learning how to write explanation texts. We’ve explored a range of interesting topics, including how compost can help our gardens and how a solar panel works. After researching our chosen topics, students have been crafting their explanation texts using a clear paragraph structure: What, How, Why, and a Summary. It’s been wonderful to see the progress students are making, particularly in how they organise and present their ideas.
In Maths, we’ve launched our new Maths Rotations to help reinforce and deepen our understanding of key mathematical skills. Each day, students rotate through one of four engaging games, each based on concepts we’ve previously covered in class. The students have done an excellent job adjusting to the new routine and are enjoying the variety and challenge the rotations bring!
