Year 3 Learning

In maths they are learning new strategies for mental addition and using these strategies to build their automatic recall of addition facts.

In writing the year 3’s were learning the structure of a procedure text and producing their own procedure text. They are also making a class recipe book where each student shares a recipe from home.

They are learning different comprehension strategies and implementing these strategies on fiction and non fiction texts.
