The P&C usually meet on the first Monday of each month from 5.00pm at the school. Everyone is welcome to come along!

ANZAC Day

Our students participated in the Uralla ANZAC Day March in the school holidays. Thank you to the Cook family for providing icypoles and water to our students to keep them hydrated for the morning! Well done to all students for marching so well and representing our school with excellence.

 

Bulb Fundraiser

Thank you to all families and community members who participated in the recent bulb fundraiser. It was very successful and raised over $700 for our P&C. Thanks to Rose for coordinating this fundraiser to benefit our school community. Happy planting!

 

Athletics Carnival - helpers and donations needed!

Our Athletics Carnival is next Friday 16th May, combined with Thunderbolts Alliance and Wild Rivers Alliance schools. Rocky River P&C are catering for the event and we need your help! Here are some ways you can help us raise funds for our school community:

● If you have chooks at home - you might be able to donate any surplus home laid eggs for our bacon and egg rolls. Please bring any egg donations to the school office between Monday - Wednesday next week and let Anne know that they’re for the P&C.

● Donate some home baking for the bake stall. This can be as fancy or simple as you like - packet mix baked goods or store bought cupcakes are absolutely fine and any donation is much appreciated! Please drop off your baked goods at the canteen gazebo at the carnival on Friday morning.

● Help cook the BBQ or serve food for an hour or two on the day - any amount of time you can spare is appreciated. The more helpers we have, the more we can all swap around so that everyone can still watch their own kids’ events on the day. Please let us know if you’re able to be involved with food serving on the day - you can either let one of the P&C team know that you’re available to help, or email us at rockyriverpandc@gmail.com

 

Next Meeting

Please note that our next P&C meeting is to be held on a different day than usual - it will be on Tuesday 3rd June at 5pm. All parents and community members are welcome to come along and find out what’s happening as we plan the rest of the term’s events.

Our next P&C meeting will now be held as usual on the 1st Monday of next month so it will be on Monday 2nd June at 5pm.

Canteen

Uniforms

School polo shirts, jumpers and jackets are available through the P&C.  Order forms are available from the school office, the Audiri App and the attachment below.  

 

We still have some long sleeve shirts available for $10 each in sizes 4, 12, 14, 16 and S.

 

There are also a large number of pre-loved uniform items available at the school office at $5 per item.
