House Swimming Sports

On Monday, February 10th, the House Swimming Carnival took place, and excitement filled the air as everyone was eager to cheer on their House . Some students took part in the swimming races, which included freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.

The House spirit was incredible, with chants led by the House Captains echoing across the pool area. Everyone shouted as loud as they could, each House determined to be the loudest and most spirited.

In addition to the races, there was a thrilling wave pool where students from every year level jumped into a giant pool with massive waves crashing over them. As the day went on, the waves grew bigger and more exciting, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone.

The floaty race was another highlight of the day. It was full of laughter and friendly competition as each House raced to the finish line. After some discussion and a bit of controversy, Marram House emerged as the winner of the floaty race.

Once the racing was finished and the points were tallied, based on swimming performance and participation, the results were in. Marram House took the top spot, winning the swimming carnival with an impressive 225 points.

The weather was perfect, and the day ran smoothly thanks to Mr. Malysiak and all the teachers and parents who helped organize the event.
