Heads of Secondary Years' Report 

Dear Parents, Carers and Friends of Hazel Glen College,

It has been another action-packed couple of weeks at HGC!  Our Year 8 students were on camp last week at the lovely camp Manyung; some of our Year 10 students completed their White Card training in the lead-up to work experience; NAPLAN was taking place in weeks 7 and 8 for our Year 7 and 9 students; Year 7 students participated in a Cyber Safety incursion with Susan McLean; Year 9's had another wonderful City Experience; and today we celebrated the diversity in our community on Harmony Day.

We have the Athletics Carnival on Thursday of next week. We hope to see everyone there, as there is no alternative program being offered on this day. Friday the 28th of March is our first Parent-Teacher Interview day for the year. This is a student-free day, and bookings are open for online interviews. 

We are delighted to announce the cast of our 2025 production Rock of Ages! This is set to be a wonderful performance not to be missed. Be sure to put the dates in your diary for our shows on Thursday 28th and Friday 29th of August and keep your eyes out for ticket information later in the year.
