Year 7 Camp Hydra & Ignis

On Wednesday 26th of February, Year 7 - Ignis and Hydra went on camp.

We were excited to get to know our classmates and try the camp activities.

Highlights for the camp were the water activities including an exhilarating water fight.

The super soakers were used to keep us cool with the hot weather.

The trivia night tested our knowledge of various topics. We ate and left no crumbs for the "Who Am I?" photo challenge.

Students understood the assignment on the dance floor and we also enjoyed the disco costumes.

Our Year 7 camp ended on Friday with a visit to Healesville Sanctuary. The bird show was really exciting to watch as we had birds fly very close to us.

Thank you teachers for our awesome camp.

The camp made sure we always had fun every minute! I made lots of new friends which hasn't happened at other camps I've been to. I had lots of fun playing basketball with my friends during free time.

We got our maths teacher (Mr Chou) on the giant swing. I overcame my fears on the high ropes. We managed to make a raft that worked. The disco was so much fun. Having matching outfits for the disco with all my friends was the best feeling ever!

The high ropes course was amazing and so much fun!

Raft building was AMAZING (Hamzeh)

There were some activities I've never done at some of my camps and they were fun to learn for the first time (Lennox)

I enjoyed canoeing and getting capsized was fun (cough, yeah right, cough) (Sanuj)

There were some activities that I really liked that I had never done before

The giant swing was the best!!

The flying fox was probably my favourite activity!

I never gave up on any of the activities and I overcame my fears. (Blake)

My friend capsized me whilst canoeing. (Anuk)
