Year12 Physics Luna Park Excursion

The Year 12 Physics class had an exciting and educational day at Luna Park, joining physics students from other schools to explore real-world applications of their studies.

From analysing forces on roller coasters to calculating gravitational potential energy on the Ferris wheel, students applied their classroom knowledge to thrilling rides.

They measured acceleration, discussed Newton’s laws in action, and observed the effects of centripetal force first hand.

The day was not only a great learning experience but also a fantastic opportunity to connect with other physics enthusiasts while enjoying the park’s attractions.
