Kool Skools Song Writing Project.  

Amazing Opportunity! 

The Kool Skools Songwriting & Recording Project is back, and entries are now open! 

What is it? A chance for selected students to record an original song in a professional studio with a music producer. You'll spend the day atEmpire Studioswith your band or as a solo artist on June 10th or 11th. 

There arearound 10 spots available, but you must be rehearsed and ready to record by the date. Your professionally recorded song will be yours to keep and will also be featured on a VBC album. 

Who can apply? The project is open to all genres and musical acts, including both original songs and cover versions. Whether you're in a band, a solo artist, a rapper, or something entirely different—this is your chance to get involved! 

How to enter: Let Mr Krieg know you want to be involved by filling out this form by March 28th. Spots are limited and will go to the most prepared groups. 

How do I Prepare? 

Music Club runs every Wednesday and Thursday at first break in the music department practice rooms. Other times available on request.  

After the Recording: 

Best acts will be selected for a lunch time concert, also, your song will be entered into the state-wide Kool Skools awards, and you might even be invited to perform at their annual showcase event. This is an incredible opportunity that could kickstart your music career, so start writing and rehearsing now.
