Fathering Project

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon at our Make It & Race It event, designed for fathers, father figures, and students to get creative and competitive! Taking place on Sunday, 30 March, from 2:00 – 3:30 PM at the school, this exciting activity will have families building and decorating their own cardboard vehicles before racing them around the oval.

Families are encouraged to bring plenty of cardboard and decorations to personalize their vehicles, and we'd love some help in collecting cardboard and bringing it into the school before the event. Basic materials and decorations will be provided, though if you'd like to being your own decorations, you're more than welcome. If for instance, you anticipate your vehicle stalling and performing terribly, you may like to bring some Navy Blue paint...

While this event focuses on creating special moments for fathers and father figures, we want every child to have the opportunity to participate, so all families are welcome.

After the races, enjoy a sausage sizzle and drinks, available for purchase to help cover event costs.
