It is advised that all children apply sunscreen and have a full water bottle - water only please. A towel and change of footwear is recommended for students in Grades 3 to 6 as this event can get muddy in wet conditions. Asthma and diabetic medications need to be carried with children who require it at all times while running (unless prior arrangements have been made with staff).
Spectators are invited to attend and can spectate from either of our playgrounds on the oval level. However, if you are able to assist between 8.45am and 11am during the Grade 3 to 6 races, or, between 10.45am and 1pm during the Foundation to Grade 2 races, please email Fiona Pumpa on Fiona.pumpa@education.vic.gov.au by Monday 24 March. Parent helpers will need to contact our office if they have not already been registered as a school helper to complete our helper induction program, and obtain a Working With Children Check.
Students will be involved in a normal school program when not participating in the cross country.
The winning House will be announced on Friday 28 March at Assembly.
Thank you,
Fiona Pumpa
