The Art Room
Term 1
Although it’s been a shorter fortnight at Mullum, students have been busy creating incredible treasures inspired by our school production Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits.
Foundation students have been dyeing paper Autumn leaves in response to the ever changing colours of Autumn.
Grade 1 learned how to make and use templates to help them cut and make stunning symmetrical Moths.
Grade 2 have used their expert cutting skills to carefully cut mirror image shapes to decorate their symmetrical transparent moths.
Grades 3 and 4 Created luminous and magical opal drawings.
Grade 5 and 6 completed their paper strip, woven Persian rugs.
We can’t wait for you to see all of these incredible artworks! Next time you’re in Mullum, be sure to check out the displays — you’ll be amazed by the talent of our young artists!
See you next time with more Art Room news
