We have discovered the Tower of Flight and its windows, with different birds singing their flight songs through them. Blackbird sings through the top window and we are learning our first recorder song from the blackbird, albatross and goose. 

We have been counting on and back in the kingdom of numbers which also has many windows with numerals in them. We have been finding friends of ten and twenty and estimating closest to them, then counting and checking. We have been fairly preparing  our fruit platters, checking that each plate has balanced amounts of fruit.

We have been creating, telling, drawing and writing key moments from our Grimm’s Fairy Tale of the week. Our sound journeys continue with mime, rhyme, drawing, writing and finding sounds and the shapes of the letter that makes them in nature.
