Gardening

This week in gardening we are grateful for the autumn rains and cooler weather!

We have harvested the last of our Summer pear crop, and watched with curiosity as the jerusalem artichokes have begun to flower.

The pumpkins continue to get bigger each week and we're looking forward to making soup next term.

We have planted some spring onions, bok choy and radishes, along with snapdragons.

We have started to construct our nature journals- we began by making a leaf rubbing with a water colour wash, then used sticks, rubber bands and a hole puncher to put them together. Over the coming weeks we will observe the garden and record what we see.
