Living Our Faith - Student Voice & Compassion in Action
This term, we’re continuing to nurture student voice in the faith life of our school. Across classrooms, students are confidently leading daily prayer, offering their own intentions, and creating moments of quiet reflection. Our updated Grace Before Meals roster, now led by our Year 4 students, has brought a beautiful sense of reverence and joy to our lunchtimes. These simple practices are helping students see prayer as something meaningful and personal, a shared part of everyday life.
We also had the privilege of hearing from a guest speaker at last Friday’s assembly, who spoke about the Malvern Emergency Food Drive and the real impact generosity can have on families doing it tough. This experience connects deeply with our Religious Education unit on Morality and Justice, where students are learning how faith calls us to act with fairness, compassion and a commitment to human dignity.
Inspired by our patron saint, St Joseph, a man of service, humility and hope, we are reminded that even small contributions can help build a more just and loving world.
A heartfelt thank you to all the families who have donated so far. Your kindness is a powerful witness to our Catholic values in action.
