Book Week
Children's Book Week turns 80 in 2025
Children’s Book Week is nearly here! From August 16 to 23, we’ll be celebrating 80 years of stories, wonder, and wild adventures with this year’s magical theme: “Book an Adventure!”
At Holy Rosary, Book Week is a highlight of our year. Each class will dive deep into one of the CBCA’s shortlisted books, bringing it to life through creativity, conversation, and colourful displays that will transform our school corridors into an art gallery.
You're invited to join the fun on our Celebration Day on Friday 22 August!
✨ Children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character, or dream up something daring, delightful, and adventurous inspired by this year’s theme! ✨
We’ll begin at 9:10am with a Book Week Parade in the playground. Come and cheer as our students show off their costumes! After the parade, wander through the school and admire the amazing artwork and displays created by our students. It’s a week where books burst off the shelves, stories come to life, and imaginations run wild and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
