Playgroup Highlights

So far this term, our playgroup children have enjoyed exploring some exciting themes.

Garden Explorers - Week 2

The children dug through a dirt sensory tub to sort bugs and vegetables, explored a fairy garden filled with sticks, gumnuts, bark, leaves, play flowers, and butterflies, played with a wooden vegetable garden, and connected flower and stem play pieces. They also used playdough mats to create garden creatures, fruits, and vegetables.

Under the Sea - Week 3

Our little learners explored an ocean sensory box filled with kinetic sand, blue slime, and sea creatures. They enjoyed water and sand play, tried a magnetic fishing game, made fish scales crafts with cellophane and crepe paper, used ocean-themed playdough mats, and listened to picture books about sea life.

When: Thursdays (during school terms)

Where: Tirkandi Library space

Session time: 9am-10:30 am

It’s a relaxed, welcoming space where your little ones can explore, play, and learn through fun, hands-on activities - and it’s a great chance for parents and caregivers to connect too!
