Premier's Be Active Challenge 2025

Premier’s Be Active Challenge – Term 3, 2025

This term, students will have the opportunity to take part in the Premier's Be Active Challenge, which runs throughout Term 3.

The Challenge aims to encourage children to be more active, more often, and to support the overall health and wellbeing of Australian students. With Sports Day coming up at the end of the term, it’s the perfect time to get moving and be inspired!

Your child will bring home a Premier’s Be Active Challenge booklet at the end of Week 3.

Children are encouraged to record their daily physical activity, aiming for at least 60 minutes of physical activity each day. After completing the 4-week challenge, families are asked to sign the booklet to verify the activity and return it to the Premier’s Be Active box in the front office.

Physical activity can include everyday tasks like washing the car or gardening, as well as running, walking, and playing sports. The challenge is designed to be achievable for everyone, and we strongly encourage all students to take part.

You can visit the official website for ideas on how to be active with your child: 🔗 https://pbac.sa.edu.au/the-challenge/

At the end of the challenge, participating students will be awarded a medal in November. As an added incentive, the first 30 students to return their completed booklets will receive a special prize. The submission box in the front office will be checked regularly to determine the winners.

We hope that all students at Lockleys North Primary School take part in this fantastic initiative.

Booklets can be returned anytime between Friday, 5 August (Week 7) and must be submitted no later than Monday, 22 September (Week 10). This is the final cut-off date—late entries will not be accepted.

Let’s get active and have fun!
