Dear parents/carers,

Welcome to Week 4!

This week is the second week of our Student Support Group (SSG) Meetings. If you haven’t yet booked with your child’s classroom teacher, please do so. These meetings are essential for working together to set Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals that your child will be working towards until the end of the school year. Your input ensures the goals are meaningful, achievable and tailored to your child’s needs.

Last week, students in Rooms 19, 21, 22, and 26 took part in an exciting incursion with Dylan from Metro Trains. They learned how to navigate train stations, plan routes, use travel apps, and travel safely. Soon, they’ll meet Dylan again for a guided tour of a train station and a trip to Flinders Street Station and back. This is an important part of our Travel Training Program, helping students build the skills and confidence for independent travel.
