Term 3 Wrap Up

What an amazing term we have had, jam-packed with so many events, camps, swimming and fundraising.

Your fundraising efforts have gone towards purchasing new marquees for Athletics days in Term 1 and a new speaker system for the Halloween disco!  A huge thank you to the PFA and volunteers for a hugely successful Father's Day stall, and to teachers for the great activities for Dad's to do with their kids.  The BBQ was a highlight, as well as the impromptu basketball games!

So many more things are planned to keep developing our school events and facilities to get the most for our kids and to provide opportunities for families to connect with the school.

Next term I am looking forward to participating in my first Macado and Fiesta!  The children will also be performing the dances that they have been working on with STOMP!  Highlight this in your family calendars as I am assured it is an event not to be missed!

It was so wonderful to be able to get to both Grade 5/6 and Grade 3/4 camps this term.    Seeing the children in new environments, using different strategies, skills and teamwork was a highlight.  I would like to say a big thank you to all the parents who volunteered to go on camp.  We could not run camps without you!

I would like to say a huge thank you to parents as this has been quite a high money term, with camps, excursions, swimming, STOMP, Health and Relationships as well as a number of sports and fundraising.  We promise to keep it less next term leading into Christmas.

The Term 4 Events Calendar was sent out in hard copy with students today.  Please check your child's bag for these.

A reminder that next Friday 19th September is the last day of term and school finishes at 2.30pm.

Thank you for another great term.  Enjoy a well earned break and we will see you on the 6th October for the beginning of Term 4.
