1/2C - What's been happening!

1/2C came back ready to start another exciting term. 

Holiday Recount

We really enjoyed our holidays and couldn't wait to share what we had been up to with our friends. We wrote about our holidays, adding lots of details to make our writing interesting. Then we drew pictures to go with what we did and put it all together to create a poster.  

Patterns

We loved learning about patterns. We know that patterns repeat and follow a rule. We had fun finding patterns around us and creating our own using shapes, colours, and numbers!

2D Shapes 

We have also enjoyed learning about 2D shapes. We explored the properties that make up each shape, such as the number of sides and vertices, to help us identify and name them. One of our favourite activities was using paddle pop sticks to create different shapes.
