Dear Families,

Year 6 Camp: Camp Howqua is going really well. A great day was had by all Skiing up on Mt Buller! It was interesting to watch students learn new skills, fail (falling over heaps!!!), get up and try again and again and again. We loved their persistence and resilience!

There are some very talented skiers and snowboarders in our community! We have had some kids enjoy tobogganing and playing in the snow! We have also had a wonderful group of parent helpers keep us safe on the mountain. Without them, we couldn't achieve this experience.

Overall, amazing work by the Year 6 team in their planning and organisation and the support from families is invaluable! The kids still have 1 more night and a range of activities today!

Movie Night: Congratulations to the Parents & Friends committee again, for yet another wonderful event for the community! The gym was jam-packed with around 380 tickets sold. I am always proud of how well attended our school events are and how our families continue to engage. Thanks to all involved and a shout out to the Lions club for running the BBQ!

School Rules: Earlier this year we designed and had signs made to help students follow our 3 school rules. We use these signs at recess and lunch to help give students reminders about expected behaviours. Please continue to have conversations with your children about behaviours at school, home and out in the community. It’s always beneficial to be explicit with what is acceptable and what is not in various places and times.

Facilities: Ramps will be installed in some locations early next week and the temporary fence will move to new locations for the next phase of accessibility and improvements. Thanks again for your patience while we continue to modify and improve the school.

Enjoy the rest of the week.
