On Friday 5 December, Year 8 students will travel to Redbanks in Nugent to participate in a ‘Mud Run’. Together, students will encourage and support each other as they walk/run through a muddy obstacle course.

Students will need to wear their sports uniform and bring a set of old clothes and closed shoes (all of which they should be happy to get very muddy). They will need to bring a plastic bag in which they will transport muddy clothes back to school, a towel, and a clean, dry set of clothes and closed shoes that grip well and can be laced up. Students will also need to bring a hat, sunscreen, recess, lunch and a water bottle.

Last Day of Term

Thursday 11 December - 3pm finish

Our final day of Term 4 will be a celebration of all that students have accomplished this year and a heartfelt farewell before heading into a well-deserved summer break. Students need to arrive at school at the usual time of 8.30am. Our shared breakfast will begin at 8.45am.

A coffee van has been organised for this time, and we invite parents to drop in and join the festivities. Breakfast will be happening on the Greens on the Argyle Street Campus, with Buddy Classes contributing to a shared breakfast. Key teachers will share more information in the near future about food and drink contributions.

Following breakfast, students will move into Gathering, a SEL Session and their final Key Teacher time from 10.30am until 1pm.

Parents are warmly invited to attend our final assembly for the year, which will mark the end of our final school day. You can begin to sit in the upstairs seats in the Farrall Centre by 1.40pm. Students will be seated by 1.45pm.

At the conclusion of the assembly at 3.00pm, students will return to the Middle School to collect bags. This concludes the day and the year for students.

The Middle School Staff wish families all the best for a safe, restful and enjoyable summer break and thank you for your support and engagement with the Middle School throughout the year.

Monday 23 February - Celebration 5.30pm to 6.30pm & Family BBQ 3.15pm to 5pm

You are warmly invited to join us for the Shine Your Light Evening, our annual Middle School celebration, on Monday 23 February 2026 from 5.30pm–6.30pm in The Farrall Centre. This special event is exclusively for our 2026 Year 7 and Year 8 students and their families, welcoming them into the Middle School and acknowledging our Year 8s as the student leaders. Attendance at the celebration is compulsory for all Years 7 and 8 2026 students in their full formal uniform. Families will gather in The Farrall Centre while our students take part in a lantern procession, carrying lanterns that showcase the artistry and collaboration of our Year 7 and 8 students. Together, we will join as a community to 'Imagine'; guided by our Quaker testimonies, we will celebrate our values of inclusion, connection, belonging and community with our students, families and staff.

The Shine Your Light Evening is a free ticketed event, with an initial allocation of two tickets per student and an option to join a waitlist for additional tickets should more become available. We look forward to gathering together to let our lives speak, honouring our shared values and celebrating the collective light of our Middle School community.

You can book your Shine Your Light Evening tickets here.

Argyle Street Campus Family BBQ

All students and families from Years 7 and 8 2026 are invited to attend the Argyle Street Campus Family BBQ, directly before the Shine Your Light Evening, from 3.15pm to 5pm. This is a free event, and an opportunity to celebrate the start of the new school year, while meeting staff and fellow Friends' families. The Family BBQ will be located in the Walpole Courtyard and Barkchip area, next to The Farrall Centre.

We will be welcoming The Rotary Club of Lindisfarne to run a sausage sizzle and both gluten free and vegan options will be available. This is a free event, however we require RSVPs for catering purposes.

You can book your tickets here.
