Designing Liveable Cities
Year 7 students have been exploring what makes a city truly liveable. Through creative planning and thoughtful design, they’ve imagined cities that prioritise sustainability, safety, and community wellbeing. Some standout designs included epic mountain bike parks, floating cities in the sky, and fantasy-inspired designs.
VCE Indonesian
Our Unit 3&4 Indonesian students have now completed both their oral and written VCE external examinations. This is a fantastic milestone in their language-learning journey. Our Unit 1&2 Indonesian students also celebrated the completion of their internal Indonesian exam this week.
To mark this achievement, both year levels came together for a relaxed and enjoyable picnic, celebrating their hard work, persistence, and progress throughout the year.
Congratulations to all our Indonesian learners — we are very proud of you!
Personal Development Skills
The PDS class visited the Mount Beauty Neighbourhood Centre recently. Trish took students on a tour of the facilities, and talked through some community projects, as well as challenges that the centre is facing. Students also saw a group in action while they were there; the Community Art Group were onsite painting Santas to go in the main street of Mount Beauty.
The Neighbourhood Centre would love to have more young people involved in their work and programs.
